Swedish bumling lamp

Designed in 1968 by anders pehrson for atelijé lyktan, the bumling ceiling lamp has become an icon of swedish mid-century interior design. Since launching, the bumling series has expanded to include table, floor, and desk lamps, all featuring the recognizable geometric curves. The bumling lamp is designed to cast a warm, bright downward light, ideally placed above a dinning room table. The plastic diffuser reduces glare and direct exposure to the bulbs. An elegant thin gap on the top of the lamp casts a faint light upwards. And a cleverly placed switch on the top of the lamp allows you to toggle between illuminating one or two bulbs. As with all early atelijé lyktan lamps, this lamp was made in sweden. This lamp is an original design and in good vintage condition. Features the original plastic light diffuser. No warping or dents. There are some very very light scratches on the lamp shade (as shown in the photos). Electricity tested. Includes two meters of white plastic cable. Takes two 100w max e27 light bulbs. Fitted with 2 meters of electrical cord ready to be installed. Wiring and lightbulb socket is universally compatible. Height: 22 centimeters. Width: 40 centimeters.
