Antique cast iron fireplace tool set and corner umbrella stand by Godin. Historical model no. 2 created in 1865 by the Godin-Lemaire Foundries (Familistère de Guise). Napoleon III and Neo-Gothic style. An authentic 19th-century piece in moulded cast iron featuring a twisted openwork shaft, upper branches adorned with dolphins, and a gripping ring at the top. The shell-shaped receptacle at the base is decorated with a beautiful design including two raised fleurs-de-lis. An ideal corner model to optimise space in an entrance. The structure is sound and complete, with no cracks, showcasing its lovely antique patina. There is very light surface oxidation on the receptacle. You are free to simply oil it or apply a graphite wax for cast iron. H 67 cm. W 34 cm. D 26 cm.
