Large earthenware fruit cup of saint clément, signed béatrice letalle, circa 1940. Round model in green enamelled earthenware with gilding. Signed and numbered on the reverse. In very good general condition, some wear and tear on the gilding. 41 X 5 cm. St-clément was founded in 1758 by jacques chambrette, the first owner of the lunéville earthenware factory. Located 12 km from lunéville, the two plants are located in different segments. The saint-clément earthenware factory produces high-end and prestigious pieces, which earned it the title of official supplier of marie-antoinette's trianon. His naturalistic slurry earthenware is still in the catalog of the earthenware factories of lunéville.
