Vintage table lamp in red glass – SCE, France

Beautiful red glass table lamp made in France by the Société Centrale d’Éclairage (SCE), a company from Ariège specialising in the creation and manufacture of decorative lighting. Founded in the mid-20th century, SCE was based in Lézat-sur-Lèze, Ariège, where it developed numerous models of contemporary and decorative lighting over the decades. This French production is now sought after for its vintage aesthetic and authentic character. With its red glass and simple silhouette, this small lamp will easily find its place on a console, bedside table, bookshelf, or small side table, fitting well in both vintage interiors and more contemporary decor. The lamp is in generally good condition. It shows some minor losses of red paint, particularly on the upper edge, which are signs of its age and use. These marks remain discreet and contribute to the charm of this antique piece. Original electrical components are in good working order. E27 large screw socket. Dimensions: 24 X 25 X 24 cm. Cable length: 190 cm. Careful packaging. I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the items and their delivery. Feel free to explore my Selency shop.
