The collaboration between the belgian designer albert jacob and the manufacturer grosfillex, a specialist in modern plastics, was particularly fruitful, giving rise to many iconic models of the space age movement. It was in the 1970s that this stackable bridge chair model intended for communities was born. It consists of an ergonomic seat shell in sand beige molded plastic, a non-slip dark brown fabric strip and a dark brown square section tubular steel structure. The armrests are made of dark brown plastic. Each unit in this set of six has scratches on the armrests and sometimes on the base, very minor wear of the beige plastic. Two copies have a damaged but stable fabric strip. The set is in very good general condition, even good condition, and structurally flawless. It should also be noted that there are two shades of beige here, very close but not perfectly identical, certainly due to different productions. The comfort and high decorative potential make this seat a character piece of 70s furniture and to seize because this model is extremely rare. Dimensions: l 61.5 cm xp 54 cm X ht 78 cm (seat 47 cm at the front).
