Vintage French Brass Gooseneck Table Lamp with Opaque Patterned Glass Shade. Its sturdy round weighted base supports a swan neck arm adorned with a stylised leaf, adding a touch of charm and refinement. The adjustable arm leads to a round shade holder, and the shade is secured with three screws, ensuring a classic and stable design. The shade is crafted from white opaque patterned glass, featuring a beautifully frilled edge that diffuses light with a soft, inviting glow. The shade's position can be easily adjusted up or down using the small screw on the arm, making this lamp as practical as it is beautiful. The lamp has a bronze-coloured flex on/off button and a 2-pin European plug, and it takes 1 large bayonet bulb B22. The brass is in good condition, showcasing a lovely deep aged patina with some verdigris that enhances its vintage character. The glass shade is complete and in good condition, with no chips or cracks, just marks associated with age and use. There is some rust on the underside of the base, but this does not impact its overall appearance.
