Mid-century round serving table, chrome and glass, Italy, 1980s

This elegant mid-century round serving table was produced in Italy during the 1980s and exemplifies the era’s emphasis on functional clarity and refined materials. The piece features a chrome-plated steel frame fitted with two circular glass shelves and smooth-rolling plastic wheels. Its compact proportions and circular form make it well suited for use as a serving table, bar trolley, or mobile side table. The combination of transparent glass and polished chrome gives the table a light, architectural appearance characteristic of late Italian modernist design. Maintained in good original condition, with minor wear consistent with age, this piece offers both practical use and timeless visual appeal.
