Pierre Guariche's "Volante" coffee table edited by Steiner

Coffee table, called "flying" by Pierre Guariche. Designed in 1950 for Steiner editions. Slightly gilded chrome metal structure with a solid wooden tray covered with white celamine (laminated). The edges are made of exotic wood to withstand shocks. This table has no sparkle on the laminate which is rare. A small discoloration the size of a 10-ct piece on the tray. Excellent state of use.
