In line with josef hoffmann's viennese secessionist design for kohn's no. 369 in 1908, all curved wood seating firms (thonet, fischel, baumann en france etc.) delivered consumer variants in the typology of the model whose success, mainly in the bistro universe, was no longer denied until the end of the art nouveau and art deco years.
