Mid-century ashtray / catchall by Fris Edam, Netherlands, 1950s. A wonderful small dish / catchall / ashtray from the famous modernist workshop Fris. Clear lines, fine glaze, and a distinctive mid-century design. This ceramic piece was made in the Fris pottery workshop in Edam, Holland. Fris pieces had a significant influence on post-war Dutch ceramics and are therefore still highly sought after. In very good vintage condition.
