1910 Louis XVI style mirror

Here is a very beautiful rectangular mirror dated august 1910, louis XVI style, (or even napoleon iii), originally certainly fireplace mirror. It is illustrated in particular by pretty decorations, in flowered frieze in the form of ribbon at the top of the frame. The effect is delicate. The mirror, wonderfully beveled, and surrounded by a thread of pearls, is original. On its back are visible, on the ice itself, both the date (august 1910) and the initials of the master mirror maker: js. If very rare points of mercury seem to stand out, it is mainly to authenticate its origin more than to reveal an age more than a hundred years old. History lovers will see a beautiful trace of a glorious era. It is of a rare elegance. Beautifully made, this mirror is in a remarkable state of conservation, and we have refreshed its gilding for more brilliance.
