Canvas and wood stool, Louis XIV style - End of XIXth century

Tabouret in the taste louis xiv, with seat covered with a canvas in canvas with galons finishes. This embroidered coating depicts a young woman, wearing a hat and wearing a rose-dominated dress. She holds on her arm a wicker basket, perhaps to put the fruits of the green environment in which she walks. This medallion is surrounded by leafy and floral patterns in multiple colors. This seat rests on four feet, connected by an h-shaped brace. The ensemble, generously and finely turned, is re-set with a cream painting. ******** Period: late 19th century.
