Old large glazed stoneware pot - Mustard L'Impériale.

Hello, here is a large and very old mustard pot with a capacity of 3l. Made for the mustard brand l'impériale, it is in a good state of conservation. Please note a small dent near the base as well as slight cracks on the inside of the pottery which are not apparent on the outside. They are not due to a shock and this is not a defect. Placed lying down in the kiln, due to its own weight and still full of water, the pottery sank on itself, revealing cracks. This is also the reason why its collar is not very round but oval, varying from 17 cm to 19 cm. Thank you for your visit.
