RENÉ LALIQUE (1860 – 1945) | Conical shaped vase with a flapper shape, and circular base, model "Moissac" (creation 1927). Industrial draught test in white molded glass-pressed and patinated, in part, with acid, with a rotating décor, in relief, alternating leaves stylized in the taste Art Deco, one oriented on a side and, others, on the other. A slight opalescence, impression of depth of field, conferred by the patina. | Model created by René Lalique on 14 March 1927, withdrawn from the catalogue in 1937, not taken over by 1947. Signed on the reverse of the heel. Old Edition. | Bibliography: reproduction in Catalonia Raisonné (Marcilhac F., 2004:437), reference 992 | MEASUREMENTS: height, 14 cm; diameter, 15 cm at the collar and 8 cm at the base. | CONDITION report: very good general condition. No shine, no missing or cracked. Glassware not altered, not opacified. Scratches on the underside of the base, of use, that it is sometimes – depending on the position of the vase – possible to detect by transparency (that said, it is rather discreet).
