Fine white porcelain carafe from Limoges, model after Sandoz Haviland.

Beautiful fine porcelain carafe, blue from the oven, from Limoges, vintage, Haviland model after Sandoz, unmarked, simply signed with an A, from the 80s-90s. It depicts a stylised duck or goose, with a small round body and flat bottom, reliefs of feathers in clean lines, a long narrow neck ending in a lid with an open beak and round eye. The inner spout has a small round neck; it is advisable to use a pouring stopper for serving to avoid splashes, likely present originally. Maximum total height with lid: 28.5 cm, maximum length approximately 16 cm and maximum width 13-14 cm. In very good condition, with a few discreet superficial scratches, pouring stopper absent. Weighs approximately 700 g.
