Polished Kaiser idell model 6726 workshop table lamp from the 1930s

Polished kaiser idell workshop lamp model 6726 from the 1930s. Designed for chrisian dell for kaiser idell. Normally this model 6726 has two long arms. These were shortened in the past and welded back together. Probably because the lamp had to be closer to a workplace. This makes the bakelite box a little skewed. The last two photos show where the lamp has been shortened on both arms. When we bought this lamp, it was completely covered in grease and had been painted over several times. We removed these layers of paint and polished the lamp. We then varnished the lamp with clear lacquer and mounted it on a heavy metal base. This lamp has a new twisted earthed fabric cord and plug. The lamp is adjustable in height from a minimum of 41 cm to a maximum of 75 cm. A unique item of which you will not soon come across a second one!.
