Strawberry-shaped earthenware jug – vintage ceramic

Very pretty vintage ceramic jug in majolica representing a large strawberry, with a beautiful relief decoration. The red-pink body is fully textured and dotted with raised seeds, while the neck, spout, and handle are adorned with generously modelled green foliage. The interior is glazed in a lovely raspberry shade. A particularly decorative piece, ideal for a vintage kitchen, a majolica collection, or repurposed as a large vase. Unidentified manufacturer, unsigned piece. Very good overall condition. Only slight signs of use related to age. Very nice appearance, bright colours, and shiny glazing.
