Cut blue crystal jug and gilded bronze, attributed to Baccarat.

Elegant cobalt blue cut crystal jug, adorned with a rich gilded bronze mount. The baluster body features a remarkable cut facet decoration. It is topped with a neck and flared spout with leaf motifs, complemented by a tall, wavy handle. The whole rests on a finely chiselled base of scrolls and rocaille ornaments. French work from the second half of the 19th century, Napoleonic III period. Overall good condition, with slight signs of use and wear to the gilding consistent with age, visible in the photos.
