1960s Book case by Tjerk Reijenga for Pilastro, Netherlands

A lovely bookcase designed by Tjerk Reijenga, manufactured by Pilastro in the Netherlands around 1960. This minimalist piece is made of black wire metal. The open structure makes it a versatile fit for many different decors, seamlessly blending in while adding a sense of modernism. It can hold books or other small items and will add great decorative value to the interior. A highly recognizable example of mid-century Dutch design. Sold individually, but they would make a great set to combine or spread out through the decor. The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
