Sandstone pot from Alsace Schmitter in Betschdorf

Nice covered pot in gray sandstone with alsace salt. It is decorated with some bright blue and matte green patterns. The label still present indicates "grès d'alsace, fait main r ed schmitter 67 betschdorf", it is a family workshop of artisanal pottery since 1884 and underneath a hollow stamp indicates "sandstone of alsace". It is in good condition, neither cracked nor missing, the blue color on the handle of the lid seems to have small gaps but I think it is original, like the few blue or green "spots" on the lid. The whole is very clean and suitable for food contact. It measures 11.5 cm in maximum diameter, 14.5 cm in height (handle included) and weighs about 700 g.
