Mid 19th Century Patinated Greek Terracotta Olive Jar

This elegant antique jar was hand-crafted in greece circa 1860; round in shape with narrow base and neck, the large vessel features a rolled rim at the top accented with a color glaze finish. The wide body is decorated with ribbed ovoid motifs in high relief throughout. The tall mediterranean olive pot is in excellent condition with wonderful character, and adorn a rich earthenware weathered finish.
