Superb and rare 19th century church tabernacle, in stuccoed wood, gilded with gold leaf, and in my possession for 20 years, for the beauty of the object. The middle cylinder turns and includes 3 niches painted and carved in different ways, all in a piece of wood. The fluted corinthian columns have a geometric base in 2 tones of silver and gold. On the carved band is inscribed “ecce panis angelorum” which translates as “here is the bread of angels”. 😇⭐🥖 we can assume that the 3 niches sculpted in the renaissance style included statues, the presentation of which was changed according to specific catholic holidays. To be placed in a small chapel, or in your interior, where your statues will be highlighted. ❤ 1.62 m in height.
