Two serving trays in vintage Japanese lacquer, "Kara-nuri"

Two serving trays in vintage japanese lacquer, "kara-nuri". In excellent condition, in their original box. The box is slightly damaged but the trays are intact. The lacquer "kara-nuri", emblematic of the city of tsugaru, is characterized by its random and unique patterns obtained by manual polishing of several layers of lacquer. The artisanal manufacture of lacquer objects requires several hours of work. The trays measure 24 cm by 33 cm.
