4 chairs by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli, 1970

Here is a charming set of four Castelli chairs, model 106, produced in the 1970s. We have literally fallen for the green colour. Bright and elegant. And for the associated anodised aluminium tubular structure. The chairs are stackable. Originally designed for professional use, these retro seats are extremely sturdy and robust. From the 1970s, the chairs show some signs of wear and intensive use. See photos. Scratches on the aluminium. And the base of some legs is damaged. Some seats have stains. Nevertheless, they remain in very good condition, stable and solid. These Italian-designed chairs combine robustness, functionality, and refined elegance.
