"Blue Flowers", Luigi Targa, Italy 1970s, oil on canvas, framed. Luigi Targa (1948-2014), an artist with azure colours, associated with the "Nuova Scuola Romana" of Italy, created figurative works blending surreal and metaphysical elements. A potter and painter, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and passionate about teaching art history and painting. Luigi Targa left behind hundreds of works, including one exhibited at the Vatican. His work has also been exhibited in Vienna, New York, Nice, Paris, Lisbon, and Brussels.
