Magic Lantern 1900 Ernst Plank Germany

Superb and rare 19th century ernst plank magic lantern, made in germany around 1890. In its original wooden box with its 12 hand-painted glass plates, it is complete. It is composed of the oil burner, the glass chimney, the interior mirror, the optical tube. Everything is original and in good condition. The instructions for use are glued to the inside of the box lid. It is functional and usable. The plates are in good condition with no breakage. 6 additional wicks are present in the box to power the burner. The lantern is composed of two optics: one inside, the other being the optical tube. No defects or accidents to report apart from the wear of the box: the hinges of the box lid are broken, the label on the top of the lid is partially torn.
