Large Ronéo brand workshop desk. Circa 1940. 150x75cm. Height 75cm. The whole is in green metal. Zinc ring on the top. 5 large drawers. Many marks and scratches due to its great age. —— 1907: Ronéo was created in France by the Neostyle company; the aim was to distribute mimeograph machines. A diversification was quickly made towards the creation of wooden office furniture in Paris. The "metal" division quickly took off (shelving, metal filing cabinets, etc.) until the boom of the 1960s and the construction of a factory in Oise where metal would definitively replace wood: they would produce seats, filing cabinets, desks, tables, flap furniture, lockers, etc. 1970: the company was sold to the English Vickers group.
