Elegant pair of French Directoire armchairs, probably dating from the late 19th or early 20th century (before 1890). Meticulously carved walnut frame with a trapezoidal backrest. Wide and comfortable seat. Rich blue-green velvet upholstery (renovated), studded finish. Tapered and fluted legs, armrests with turned consoles. Dimensions: seat height 40 cm, depth 45 cm, width 53 cm, total height 85 cm.
