Jozef Mees, Lyrical Abstract Oil on Panel 1978

Fantastic lyrical abstract composition by Belgian artist Jozef Mees . Known for his love of structure and precision, Mees presents a beautifully balanced work where every shape and line is thoughtfully placed. In this piece, he layers bold colors against darker contrasts, giving the painting a lively character. In classic Mees fashion, he embraces the flat surface, rejecting depth to create a balanced, almost architectural quality that we absolutely love. If you're drawn to art that marries boldness with control, this work is calling your name! Oil on panel, signed and dated 1978 in the lower right corner. The piece is in perfect condition and has been professionally framed in a dark wood shadow box frame.
