Postmodern Adjustable Lift Ceiling Lamp by Jean-Marc Da Costa for Serien Lighting, 1980s

Rare ceiling light from Series Lighting designed by Jean-Marc da Costa in the 1980s. Delicate design in a technical design language with references to Art Deco. The head of the luminaire is located at the end of a jointed construction, which opens onto a rectangular canopy. The light can be manually adjusted to approximately 140 cm via a sliding mechanism. The power line is a black cable. Details include finely executed elements of the light head, staged screw heads and connections, a handle for height adjustment, as well as white reflectors or diffusers closed on top by a perforated plate.
