Two wonderfully crafted glass wall lamps designed by per lutken for holmegaard glasværk in the late 70s. Model ‘glasplampette’ They are so consistent and they are designed and made so that no two glasses have exactly the same colour and expression. They are large wall lamps, so they can easily be used as standalone lamps as well, they don't have to be a pair to be beautiful and decorative, both with and without light. They measure approximately 25 cm in height, 21 cm in width and protrude about 13 cm from the wall. They weigh 1450-1650 grams each. Original mounting/suspension included. In the link below, the lamps are presented in holmegaard's catalogue from 1978: Https: //www.hardernet.dk/lamps/glasplattelampet-per_lutken_fg_1978.htm. They are in white and transparent painted glass with ‘mica’ added/glued on the back (original) We've never seen them in this colour/like this before, so they must be rare. There are no chips, cracks, flaws or defects, just natural wear and normal signs of use. The sand mica is ‘glued’ on and can fall off, but there are thousands of them. The suspensions are ‘white’ but probably more cream coloured and both need new wires as they are very short. The price is for the set = both lamps. One bulb is included per lamp (uses a standard e14 bulb). Packed securely and sent with insurance.
