Glass candy jar

Old glass confectionery candy jar, storage jar with round lid in brown bakelite, first half 20th century. This kind of confectionery jars were exhibited on or behind the counter of a shop, bakery or pharmacy, this is a very old one, see the bubbles in the glass and the thick and heavy version.
