Old cargo liner model, popular art

Former model of a hand-painted wooden cargo liner. Probably made by one of the sailors who was sailing on this liner. Sailors used to reproduce identically the boats on which they sailed using what they had on hand, such as wool to reproduce smoke from chimneys, for example. A model of folk art of naïve design placed on a wooden quad-sized base representing the sea. Lacks on the catwalks, a sheen at the bow of the boat, some shocks and scratches of use.
