Set of 6 plates fine in fine earthenware with printed decoration in grisaille and poems. Set of 6 superb historiated plates in fine earthenware decorated with frieze of flowers printed in grisaille. Each of the plates presents a poem with crossed rhymes or rhymes embraced on various themes. Size: Diameter: 21 cm, Base: 15 cm, Height: 2 cm, Weight of a plate of about 270 grams. Period: xixth century. Creil plates or maybe choisy. There is no stamp on the back, but they were with series of earthenware plates from montereau and choisy (online ads), the decorations are very similar. Nice structure, no cracks or weaknesses. Small gins on the edges. Presence of a significant chip on the edge of one of the plates highlighted in photo 10. Nice appearance, the decorations are well preserved overall.
