Vintage silver-plated and velvet-padded jewelry box

Lovely vintage jewelry box in silver-plated metal with four lion paws and padded with burgundy red velvet. Motto of the monarchy of the united kingdom "god and my right" present on the lid of the box and accompanied by an animal coat of arms. This motto found on the coat of arms of the united kingdom was introduced during the reign of king henry VI (1422–1461).
