This charming jam cabinet seems to have come straight from a French country house of the 1930s. It once stood proudly in the pantry of a bourgeois home in Biarritz, on the Atlantic coast, where it was used to store homemade jam jars and everyday crockery. Made entirely of solid wood, it has been patinated in a delicately aged grey-blue, revealing the wood's grain in places and some signs of wear that give it all its character. Its upper drawer and opening door provide a lovely storage space, ideal for a kitchen, hallway, bedroom, or bathroom. Every detail tells a story and adds a genuine touch of authenticity to your interior. The original lock turns in vain, so we must manually push the latch to the left to close it and pull to the right to open it. The piece will remain functional, and the door stays securely closed. Features: Estimated period: 1930s. Solid wood. Old grey-blue patina. 1 drawer + 1 opening door. Very good overall condition with signs of wear. Unique piece. Dimensions: Width 69.5 cm - Depth 39 cm - Height 92 cm. A rare piece, full of character, that will instantly bring soul to your interior. Delivery via Selency or by carrier. Cocolis.
