Early 20th Century French Mahogany & Walnut Marquetry Side Table, 1910th

A French marquetry table in the Louis XVI style. The table, richly inlaid and featuring a small drawer, is made of mahogany and walnut on the outside. It has fluted legs characteristic of the style and a tabletop adorned with floral and ribbon motifs. The interior is made of birch. When the top is opened, a small compartment for trinkets is revealed. This item was produced in France between 1890 and 1919. It has been polished and shows light wear consistent with age and use, including a slight unevenness on the tabletop visible in sunlight. Dimensions: Height: 75 cm, Width: 61 cm, Depth: 41 cm.
