Description
Magnificent english chippendale style cabinet made by an english craftsman during the first half of the 20th century, it is entirely in carved mahogany and mahogany veneer. The style is easily recognizable with these curved legs, inspired by the louis XV style, decorated with acanthus leaf sculptures. It opens with two doors in the upper part revealing a lemon veneer interior, and under which there is a drawer. The drawer opens with two brass handles and the doors lock with a brass key as well. Automatic lighting is triggered when the right door is opened, using a push button. The original neon will be provided, as well as an led neon. The condition is excellent with some slight signs of wear on the veneer and a very small loss on the right side, visible in the photos. On the back, we find the manufacturer's plate. This piece of furniture can be placed in a beautiful living room or bedroom, bringing a touch that is both classic and very british! Circa 1930 dimensions: - width: 74 cm - height: 138 cm - depth: 49 cm weight: 30 kg delivery possible in france and around the world.
