Stunning pair of extra large opaline glass wall lights designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for Peill & Putzler (Germany, 1950s). Rare Magna/2685 model. Opaline glass shades with metal bases. Beautiful minimalist design & high quality. They create a beautiful atmosphere. Wilhelm Wagenfeld was an important pioneer of modernist design. His timelessly simple designs are internationally recognized and have received many awards. A museum dedicated to Wagenfeld’s works as well as a design school named in his honor have been created in his hometown of Bremen. Rewired (hardwired) and ready to use (compatible in all countries Europe, US, UK, etc.). Each wall light requires 1x E27 light bulb. LED compatible.
