Pair of wrought iron fire dogs

Magnificent and very old pair of andirons with bowls, or fire dogs, made of wrought iron from the 18th century. The bowls were used to keep soup bowls warm. Great decorative items, with a real history for your large fireplace. The patina is in its original state, in good condition, very sturdy, and quite heavy. Height 59 cm x width 25 cm x depth 60 cm x weight approximately 18 kg x inner bowl diameter 13.5 cm x outer bowl diameter 18 cm.
