Iconic pair of armchairs by Olivier Mourgue for Airborne created in 1965. It is inspired by the mythical shape-shifting djinn from Arab culture. Its fluid form embodies the bold and futuristic spirit of the era popularised by Stanley Kubrick in '2001: A Space Odyssey'. Tubular steel structure upholstered with polyurethane foam and a royal blue velvet fabric. The pair is in very good condition. Dimensions: 65.5 x 69 x 74.5 cm.
