This large pendant lamp was designed by Mogens Davidsen for the Danish lighting manufacturer Superlight during the 1970s. The design represents the characteristic qualities of Danish lighting from this period, combining a minimalist form with functionality and a precisely engineered light diffusion system. The lamp is crafted from metal and is distinguished by its characteristic multi-layered shade construction. Several concentrically arranged reflectors of different diameters create a striking geometric form while directing and diffusing the light effectively. The wide, flat shade, measuring 50 cm in diameter, gives the lamp well-balanced proportions and makes it ideal for hanging above a dining table, in a living room, or in a larger interior. The metallic finish emphasizes the modernist character of the design. The lamp is preserved in very good condition, showing only minor signs of wear consistent with its age. The wiring has been replaced with new wiring, and the lamp has been checked by an electrician, ensuring that it is fully functional and ready for use.
