Nyrup Møbelfabrik oak arm chair by Henning Kjaernulf

Danish design arm/side chair designed by henning kjaernulf for nyrup møbelfabrik of denmark, 1960s. This rare model arm chair is made from solid oak and is newly upholstered with a green and blue wool fabric by kvadrat called steelcut trio. This colour is a subtle nod to the green striped fabric that was often originally used on this type of chair. This chair has four back spokes instead of the usual three, and the arm rests have more sophisticated and organic joining than other models. The chair is in excellent condition, the oak is fresh but shows its age through the colour it has taken. The fabric is new, it does however show a small manufacturing error on the front left side.
