Vintage cardboard hat box - burgundy color

This superb hat box is a pretty burgundy red. This hat suitcase is made of waffle cardboard. It is an authentic vintage hat board that the ladies used for the transport and conservation of headgear. This box closes with a lock (there is no longer the key unfortunately). The interior is lined with brown checkered paper. A beautiful decorative object that evokes the fashion of yesteryear: elegant dresses with floral, gloved and hatted dresses for all occasions... We can fill hat boxes and vintage boxes for an accumulation effect. In good general condition, this hat box measures 40 cm X 37 cm for 21 cm in height. I report traces of use (worn edges, traces of oxidation on the metal and wear of the leather handle).
