This antique persian kilim was woven by hand in the 1920s. Three large diamonds with hook motifs decorate this piece woven in varying colours of cream, brown, orange and blue on a cream background. This has then been framed by a repeat pattern tribal border. Both the design and colour palette in this kilim make it the perfect accent accessory. This fine wool kilim rug has been woven by hand with the traditional kilim technique, flat-weave with no pile. Organic hand-spun wool and cotton have been used in the construction of this piece dyed with organic vegetable dyes which have been used for generations.
