Square workshop stool painted white

Charming square stool in solid wood, oak it seems to me given its important weight, lacquered white. Probably a stool that served in a workshop in its first life. Perfect as a seat, it can also be used as a plant holder, end of sofa or bedside. It is functional, stable and very solid but does not hide its age, probably well over 60 years: the seat has a crack, clearly visible but which does not question its solidity, it does not move! It was repainted at least twice, leaving the remnants of the previous layer under the second layer. The paint flakes in places and has various and numerous drips, gaps, marks and stains. To adopt in a wabi sabi spirit, with its defects and the traces of all its previous lives or to restore it to its original appearance by removing the white lacquer (elbow grease necessary!). It measures 44 cm in height, the base is a square of 30 cm side, the seat is a square of 26 cm side for a thickness of 2 cm. It weighs 3 kg.
