Old high stool in curved wood with caned seat

Antique high stool in curved wood, probably produced by Thonet at the beginning of the 20th century. The frame is made of curved wood and the caned seat rests on 4 crotched legs with a circular reinforcing bar. These stools were found at the counters of Belle Epoque cafes. In very good condition, the seat has no snags and is not stretched. The structure is impeccable. A lovely piece with timeless charm. Height: 71 cm. Seat diameter: 35.5 cm. Width: 36 cm. Depth: 36 cm.
