Serving Tray Set of 5, 1960s French Mid Century Tableware,

A beautiful set of five French stainless steel serving pieces dating from around the 1960s. The set has a lovely mix of elegant scalloped shapes, softly curved edges and practical mid-century forms, including a large oval serving tray, a decorative divided tray, a smaller raised dish and a charming rectangular handled tray with delicate floral decoration. Stainless steel became especially popular in French tableware during the mid-century period for its durability and clean, polished appearance, while decorative pieces like these still carried the elegance of traditional French entertaining. A wonderful collection for a French vintage table, entertaining, serving or simply displaying as beautiful period kitchenware. The pieces have light signs of use consistent with age, including fine surface scratches and small marks from use, particularly to the serving surfaces. The floral handled tray has an engraved floral design and ornate handles which give the set a particularly pretty and distinctive character. No major damage is visible.
