Brutalist suspension, brass leaves, Svend Aage Holm Sorensen, 1960

Large gilded brass pendant lamp designed by svend aage holm sorensen for holm sorensen & co. Denmark, 1960s, brutalist style. Model 6395. Patinated brass, brass petals cut with a torch and treated with acid to achieve this effect, a method characteristic of holm sorensen. Electricity verified, ready to be installed, original brass chain and rosette. Label in the rose window. Height: 40 cm. Total height (with the chain): about 80 cm (possibility to shorten the height) Width: about 45 cm.
