Les Frères Cloutier French ceramic drainer

Large drainer, the Cloutier brothers in ceramic, the handle in turned stained solid beech, is broken. Dimensions of the handle 41 cm long. Ceramic 15 cm in diameter. Note a grain visible on photos. Rare objects. The ceramic twins "Robert and Jean Cloutier (07/08/1930 - 2008 and 2015) Students of Georges Jouve, they were hired by Pol Chambost. In 1955 they opened their workshop in Paris. Their works are sold in the Mitsukoshi department stores with which they have collaborated since 1967, they are invited to Tokyo to share their know-how. They develop a red enamel that will have international success, collaborate with renowned architects to participate in the renovation of the Galeries Lafayette in Paris, a separation wall for Air France, and the Maison de l'Iran on the Champs Elysees.
